I'm an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis, currently working through the core of computer science and quantitative economics. I like the moment where a technical skill — a loop, a distribution, a balance sheet line — turns into an actual judgment call.

That's what pulled me toward independent equity research alongside coursework: it's the same instinct as debugging a program, applied to a business instead of a codebase. I write in both Korean and English, and most of my study material ends up as one.

Java fundamentals, from receipts to logic drills

Early CSE 1301 studios: fixing a broken dev environment, then building small programs — a gas receipt calculator, a leap-year checker, an ascending/descending sequence validator — to get comfortable with Java's control flow before the course moves into larger structures.
